We replaced our troublesome Astron 50 amp, linear, rack mounted supply with a Duracomm switched mode model about a year ago. No problems whatsoever thus far. No noise at all on 70cm. Much lighter too; I didn't hurt my back lifting into the cabinet as I have with the Astron.
