Us northeastern Joe Ham types don't like climbing the tower during the
middle of the January contest when it's covered with ice and the T/R relay
gets hung up.  Not a concern for y'all in warm and sunny SoCal...

Improve the return loss even a few dB at the sacrifice of a few tenths of a
dB of preamp NF and you don't have to upgrade the feedline...
