Hi Nick, 

The most practical method to id your receiver band/model would be to 
take a well lighted digital picture of the receiver pc board (top down  
view) and email it to some of us who know the Spectrum Products by 
sight. I've got some information I'll be happy to share with you if 
you send me the mentioned pictures.
