Sorry - this was supposed to go direct to someone else... But I will accept any replies on-list.
I have a Micor RX that is half deaf... Sensitivity about .6 or .7 µv at 449.550. I've re-tuned this thing until I'm blue in the face. Mark - N9WYS -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] On Behalf Of N9WYS Terry, Do you think this mod might improve the RX sensitivity on the receiver unit in Frankfort? I know I'm not trying to receive that low, but maybe this might be what the doctor ordered to improve the RX sensitivity figure. ??? If not, I have another RX unit at the house we could try... but then I'd need to fix the Frankfort one anyway, if I get the opportunity to install a RX in Crete at Jay's tower... I have 12 Micor receivers in the 438 - 439 with the only mod being a 6 - 9 pf cap add to L101 on the solder side of the board. This brought the drive up on the channel element. The preselector went down with no problem. Chris N6icw
