Hmmm-how about a compromise-give us the choice of either a cheaper radio, or for those who need it, a higher end radio that has the better rx. Some of us can't afford $500 for a radio. Course, I don't understand getting new radios every year or two like many people do... -- Jim Barbour WD8CHL
