Are you using the CXB as a stand-alone repeater, or do you
have an external repeater controller attached to it?

We had the same problem with a Micor-based repeater that
had an SCom-7K attached to it, and solved the problem with
a reed relay and a wall-wart transformer. The relay contacts
were hooked from a digital input to ground, and the wall-wart
was hooked to the relay coil.  On power fail the relay dropped
out and the digital input went high. The station normally operated
with no reset beep, when power failed it became a morse "N".
The IDer changed from W6xxx to W6xxx(space)NP and also
went from 900hz to 1200hz.
