Which controller is it? If it's one of the ones from ICS you need to contact Brian as he added the kerchunk filter to port two a while back. Years ago I helped a 6m group that had an intermittently pulsing interference on their input - it took a year of T-Hunting to find it as the interference was only for a couple of hours per week, and usually the guys were at work when it happened... turned out to be a dirty industrial RF-based plastic bag sealer a few miles from the receive site. We did a perfboard circuit with a 555 and a few transistors... COR went into it, it fed the COR line on the controller. When PTT came up it switched the circuit into normal mode. The problem was that the "pops" would keep it in normal mode. We never did come up with a resolution to that problem... In the end we PL'd the input until the sealer was found and repaired.
