If you decide to expand your search for an instrument to include established brands, there have been three companies in the handheld spectrum analyzer market that build quality products: Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz, and Wiltek.
Agilent has also just introduced a handheld unit, but it is initially available in a 3 GHz range model. I have used the Rohde and Schwarz and found that it is an excellent unit.
