IMO the Hamtronics squelch circuit was the worst I've ever heard. The impulse response problem really caused a lot of subtle performance problems that just don't show up in other squelches. Let's not forget that long Motrac-like squelch tail to boot. In the end, an excellent candidate for a Micor squelch retrofit. Bob NO6B
