I've not found SWR to be a problem. The impedance at the feedpoint of the top half can't be too far from 50 ohms, since they are using an N connector. And Chuck, please enlighten me/us on how you make two 408s from a 420. What do you do with that <dangling> coax that feeds the non-existent top half? Cut it off? Laryn K8TVZ
