Looks like the WIRES device the Yaesu came out with.

They are neat and as anything, just another tool in
the toolbox.

However, in my case, being deployed to Iraq, having
something like that here on a small very limited
coverage repeater and one at my home town in SD, that
would be awesome. Even more because amateur radio in
Iraq is banned until furthur notice.

Thank God we live in the US, the Iraqi government
wanted to collect all radios from the hams on file in
the country of Iraq. Was barely shot down by just a
few people.

This country and their sand storms really suck.
