Thanks. That's the magic part number. The description doesn't say how many come in a pack, but MOL wants just over $9 for them, myradiomall wants just over $7.
I seem to recall that they had a phenolic insulator, but whatever it was, it would NOT melt when subjected to soldering heat. Looks like I'll be working up a small Motorola order as I need a couple of other (in)expensive parts too. By the way, these are just so I can connect a signal to a UHF SpectraTAC/Micor receiver board when installed in an 800/900 SpectraTAC chassis (those bands have an SMA connector on the receiver). They were the good RF quality ones used in MICOR, MOCOM-70, MOTRAC, etc. radios, that appeared to have an insulator made of ceramic material. The Motorola Part Number was 28-82331G01, which was a package of 3 of the good quality RCA plugs (I still have a package of them). I got tired of using the local RS plugs which had a center pin that was too long for some jacks, and often melted while trying to solder to them. The ones sold by Motorola were of such good quality that they were reusable, unlike the cheap plastic RS ones. LJ -----Original Message----- From: "Bob M." The problem is, I don't have the cables to start with and need to make my own, hence the search for just the connectors.
