You would be better off finding some used MMDS antennas on 2.4 GHz 
instead of messing with the offset Primestar dishes.

I have tried the Primestar Wifi modification that can be found on the 
web with limited success.  Never could get a reliable link.  However  
the MMDS dishes worked great over the same path.  Yes they did cost just 
a little more but spinning your wheels isn't much fun either.

What is your path distance?  Line of sight?
