Brian, You have a 35 watt (first 5) VHF 136-150 MHz (last 56) radio. In USA the last 56 was a 66 meaning 150-174 and was the band most used by commerical. In Canada seems 136-150 was used mostly specified by last 56 in the comb number so made for 2 meters. The KCS have little meaning to you. It specified number of frequencies, channel guard (GE's CTCSS) and some other not important items for making a repeater.
Makes an excellent repeater and is real easy to convert. There is documentation on this board describing the conversion. Real simple, cut one transistor on SAS board (keeps audio unmuted during TX), cut white wire in rcvr harness and connect to 10V (keeps rx crystal running during TX) and add receive antenna connector and it is ready for a controller. 73, ron, n9ee/r > >>From: seehaferbrian <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >>Date: 2007/07/16 Mon AM 10:44:45 CDT >>To: [email protected] >>Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Master Executive II RT56KCS56A > >> >>Gentlemen: >>I have just gotten the radio listed above.
