It would be good to get info on this repeaters equipment, type duplexer, feedline, etc.
I agree with another posting...first ID the problem then put in fixes that address it. Know sometimes this is difficult so we just try things hoping it will help. If the problem is from outside source, such as intermod on a spot on the tower, and the resulting freq is your receiver input all the filters in the world will not fix the problem unless you want to attenuate the receiver input.
