Nothing wrong with the MSR-2000 repeater in carrier squelch. I've found most people don't clearly understand how to connect, configure and adjust their controllers for MSR CSQ operation. My carrier squelch MSR-2000 repeaters sound just a clean and quiet (no crash heard) using the stock equipment. The Micor Audio Squelch board path (regardless of mfgr) is a nice way to go if you don't already have the hardware resources in place. The MSR-2000 has the hardware resources in place... one does not really have to be redundant. > Compared to the Micor, the MSR2000 was a short-lived product > line. Which can be said about most other repeater/base mfgr brands and models. Long lived repeater (specific) models will no longer be possible regardless of the product quality. cheers, s.
