Jesse,

It has been my experience one needs a continous duty supply at 2 times the PA
output. This is the same for most Ham rigs as far as current draw.

So for 110 W need a 220 W supply or 220W/13.8V = 16 Amps.

If one takes some of the Motorola and GE PAs and turns down the power output
the current does not drop at the same ratio, but for rated power the times 2 is
pretty good mark.

If using an Astron I would go with no less than an RS35 and I like putting fans
on all, PA and supply.

The Micor PA is normally used with the Motorola TPN1110A supply which is
farriresonant?. I get these at hamfest in excellent condition for $40. Might
try e-bay. Shipping will be a killer...weights about 30 lb. The only thing
about the supply is it draws more than normal power under low load due to the
type of regulator it has, but they are very good supply.
