It's been quite some time since I last built an antenna, and been a very long
time since I sat down patiently putting something together.

As I sit here in my chair, in the middle of the freakin' desert in Iraq, I came
to notice that while building this wi-fi antenna for our network, I'm actually
taking my time building it. I've never really taken my time before, it was
always a rush to put an antenna together and get the thing in the air, hoping
it will work the first time. I'm finding that I actually like taking my time
building something, and enjoying the process, and it is quite relaxing, believe
it or not. Where-as before I was in a hurry for no reason and getting all mad
at the thing didn't work or when something didn't fit right.

I'm only 25, but I rather enjoy this hobby of 13 years and now I think I
finally realized what it was to take time to build something, put some quality
effort it, and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Sure it may take a little longer,
or does it because now it'll most likely work the first time?
