If I may add my 2¢ worth
I have a Crescend 150W PA on my 444.550 machine. It was purchased new and it was in service about a year before it released its installed volume of magic smoke. (The PA is protected by an isolator.) Anyhow, I took it out of the rack and back to Crescend, who fixed it free and returned it within a week. It is also nice that they are conveniently local to me Anyhow, they never asked me any questions about the installation they just took it and fixed it. They also continued the three-year warranty on the PA. (No, I didnt open the cover to see what happened I did not want to break the seal and void the warranty on the unit.) All-in-all, I am very satisfied with Crescend. My experience has been that they stand behind their product and provide excellent customer service when needed, so I am also very comfortable with recommending Crescend highly. If I remember correctly, they make the amps for Daniel's (the lower powered ones). Have never had a problem with their amps. I can't say the same for TPL. My experience is they provide Temporary, Problematic, Lack-luster performance. On 10/30/07, R. K.
