Eric, The HLN3948 is the basic repeater controller that is in the HLN3333 R*I*C*K (Repeater Communications Interface Kit), which is used to connect two GM300 mobile radios and create a GR300 Repeater. Other radios can be used with the appropriate cables and changes in jumpers and I/O functions. It does not contain an ID function, so that needs to be added.
