I tried to post this a few days ago, and it has not shown up on the
list of messages as of yet so I will try again.

I have a MASTR II Station converted into a Repeater everything
appears
to work fine with one exception. Any time I try to use either a
19D432500G3 REV C CG Decoder board (I have 4 of them with different
REV
codes)or the 19D432500G1 Encoder/Decoder board (I only have one of
these) I cannot get them to decode a properly encoded singal. On the
G1 board, it also does not encode as well.

I have downloaded and checked every LBI I can think of that would be
related to this, and I have tried the different 10V regulator card
jumper settings. And I do have the 10V coming to P908.

To me and my co-conspirator (we'll call him Dan) it appears that the
audio is being routed around the CG board somehow. The only card
installed in the card cage is the 10V regulator, there is one jumper
on
the backplane of the chasis (white jumper across the split
terminals).

On a side note I have also tried to install a TS-32 unit which is
known
good to no avail.

The repeat audio sound crisp and clean, just like a MASTR II should
sound.

If any one has any clue as to why 3 different models of CG boards
would
not work in a MASTR II please shed some light my way.

Thanks,

Brian Romine
