Any IFR 1100S gurus out there? I have one with a problem, head scratcher, tho I may have been looking too long now and missing the obvious.
Problem: On low freq, under 5 mhz there is an unlocked condition that the spectrum analyzer and receiver see, but lock light stays solid during this. Go to generate and signal is stable and accurate. I can't find anything common to HF synth and receiver and analyzer. I have a 638 page service manual PDF (thanks Repeater-Builder!) P/S voltages in spec. I'm putting it away for tonight, but if anyone out there has some time inside a 1100, what do you think? GeorgeC W2DB Awstin
