I've used the RLC5 for years and it hasn't missed a beat on port 1. Some time ago I had it updated to version 1.79 and now if I try to hook a repeater to port 2 it will receive fine but on tx it keys the ptt and there is no audio out. Something else strange is it stays keyed until you key the tx on port 1.
So I have port 1 up and working fine no problems. Port 2 has COS from RX hooked up along with ground, PTT, RX audio and TX audio. When port 2's COS comes active the TX will come up and stay up until port 1 is keyed. There is no audio from port 2's RX to port 2's TX. Any ideas? It's very hard to find someone with a RLC5 and Link says it shouldn't be a problem with the firmware... Ben W4WSM
