Converted mobile, that has been on the air for 4 years, when you say continuous duty you mean on all the time. No repeater is on all the time, however ours has been in use for hours at a time. So I would ask what is you definition of a ham repeater in continuous use? Most Micor stations are rated for a continuous duty transmit cycle. Some had a small heatsinked PA and were not rated as such. The mobiles are rated something like 80-10-10 that's 80% standby 10% receive 10%transmit at full power, within a given time period. That is based on the size of the heat sink. Chris N9LLO **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
