I just cruised around the highways north of Boston with my Spectra
scanning the National FM Simplex frequency on 900 (.500 i believe) and
it is just PACKED with Baby Monitors, remote speakers, TV "Rabbits",
and what I assume are alarm systems.

The range on some of these tings is amazing.... Driving down I-95 with
no houses in sight I listened to a baby Monitor for at least a mile
and in my hometown there is a baby monitor with a 1-1/2 mile range all
around it.

Links frequencies should be carefully monitored and chosen on their
interference free availability if signal strength is an issue.
