Hi Budd,
There are two versions. The 50W is set up for commercial frequency spacing.
The 25W is set up for ham spacing. To change the 50W over you need to order
two crystals from ICOM and change some solder pads. Not for the novice. I
took pictures.
There are also three different versions of the manual out there for the 2m
version alone. Some can be found on this chat groups files page.
They are real easy to hookup to an external controller. I have four of the
ICOMs all together, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED]
