D-STAR lists are REALLY busy... MASTR II list has been busy... VHF Contesting list has been busy... (JUNE IS COMING ARE YOU READY?! YOU ALREADY MISSED HALF THE SPRINTS!!) AMSAT list has a few... Local Linux lists are having some odd discussions...
And I'm behind on most of them, as usual. Thank goodness they just pile up in their individual little folders on the server for fun later! Heh... it's still pretty busy here in my Inbox! :-) And of course, when RB "the list" is a little slow, I bet RBers aren't! The snow is starting to melt and we're all scrambling to get things ready to go for the first assault on the mountains to fix repeaters that have issues since winter started -- and to put up whatever crazy new things need to go up THIS Summer! Are you all ready for that first slog up the hill in the mud in 4WD eyeballing those last snow patches wondering if you're going to get stuck in them, and the resulting, "WHY DID I PACK ALL OF THIS CRAP TO PUT THREE GROUND WIRES ON?!" smack on the forehead four hours later when you're back down off the mountain?! (Why? Because it's 20 miles back to home, and you KNOW if you don't take it, you'll NEED it... that's why!) [For those of you who have towers only 1 mile from your home and can play with your repeaters year-round... pbbbbbt! I'll send you my gas bill if you'd like!] Still snowed here last night in town... NOT QUITE TIME to go up yet... but getting real close. Nate WY0X
