What format is this data in...what is it; tones, digital voltage level changing, etc???

If digital voltage level changing like RS232 type an the radio is using phase mod this can be a problem.

Hi,

I've tried both normal and inverted data through the F1010 still with
no luck, I completely stuck now? I've tried changing the deviation
using the "initial set mode" on the radio and still nothing. Do you
think i may be wasting my time?

Your data polarity might be inverted.
