There are a few of those half-moon-like solder pads which determine where the tx audio coming into the accessory cable is fed - either standard mic-level filtered audio, or direct into the modulator bypassing all filtering (ie: a pl input). Try setting the jumpers to select the correct audio input mode. I don't have any docs on the F1010, but I'm sure it's similar to the rest of the Icom mobiles as per above. Sometimes the solder pads are labeled with a letter ( A,B,C,etc).
