Someone gave me a unit to tune up on the UHF ham band. No label on it. Four
cavities, two female N connectors on each one, obviously Bp/Br as there are two
tuning adjustments (long threaded rod, shorter slotted rod), Celwave design.
I've got one that's very similar on 896 MHz and I've also got several 526
models. You can just tell it's Celwave.

Celwave/RFS no longer has any info about duplexers. EMR bought most of that
stuff but I don't think all the data sheets went with the designs.

It seems there are several varieties of the 696, but I don't know how to tell
them apart. I suspect it has something to do with notch depth or spacing. Does
anyone have more details than what are available on repeater-builder's big list
of duplexer specs? Point me to a PDF file if possible. A picture would be
helpful too, just so I can verify what I've got.

I know I can make new cables to bring this one down into the ham band. The
existing ones use clamp-style male N connectors, and several cables are loose
in the connecctors. My new cables will use crimp male N connectors, which is
what Celwave used on their more modern units.

Thanks.

Bob M.
