Dennis, The Motorola TLD1693D power amplifier is rated at 100 watts continuous duty for the 150.8 to 162 MHz band. It will not operate properly outside of that band without extensive (and very expensive) modification. The specifications state that it requires 400 mW of drive, and it draws 20.5 amperes at 12.8 VDC at full power output.
