There was a recent article where the businessman that commissioned the ad acknowledged that it was phony. Seems he worked for a headset manufacturer that was trying to suggest the safety hazard of holding a cell phone next to one's head, thereby promoting headset sales. It didn't take this admission to realize that the ad was phony. The laws of physics clearly show that a few hundred milliwatts (or even a few watts) from a cellphone, or even a dozen cellphones, for that matter, cannot produce enough heat to vaporize the water in a kernel of popcorn. Add to that the fact that, when several phones are used, who's to say that the signals are all in phase, therefore additive. They could just as easily be 180 degrees out of phase and therefore, essentially cancel each other out. Just takes a few seconds thought to write that kind of rubbish off. I take this kind of advertising as an insult to my intelligence. Tom
