To you... 
What is the difference if the current draw pulls down both 
batteries as a paralleled pair versus individual single 
battery sources switching back and forth? 

Do you have a low voltage disconnect in either path to 
the equipment? 

Are the batteries the same age, size and type? 

Are the solar panels the same age, size and type?
