Hello, group, In some posts and articles about cavities that I've read, it is sometimes said that inter-cavitiy cable length should be 1/4 wave, minus the length of the loops.
Could someone please clarify that? Does it mean the total length of the conductor in the loop, back and forth, or does it mean the length from the connector to the end of the loop where it turns around? Or something else? It's not too hard to make cables that are an electrical 1/4 wave on their own but it gets trickier when other factors such as connector and loop length must be taken into account. Thanks, Brad KB9BPF
