Use good cleaner/protectant & you shouldn't have any more problems. I haven't had many connector issues with my dozen or so MVPs in service, but when I do I use Caig DeOxIt. I used to use their Cramolin R-5 product but they stopped making that years ago when Freon was banned. Bob NO6B
