I replied to Dave direct, but I'd like to place two cents here, too... The older version of the 4/12/24 channel software goes out-of band, the newer versions don't.
The newer version of the 99-channel software goes out-of-band, the older doesn't. They seem to favor going up into 6m, but not below 29.7 (I spent a half hour trying most of the different versions I have here) so - someone would have to do some hacking to find the bits to change to get 10m into one of these 1011's.
