Help, Please! I have a in hand a very nice working pair of FTL-7011 radios (4 channel) that I am wishing to utilize for a portable repeater project.
Have the software, have them programmed to the frequencies we have coordinated for use, a controller in hand, that should work well for the project, do not have a service manual (would be nice to have), what I cannot figure out, is the correct connections to the radio's board for connection to the controller. COR, Audio in, Audio Out, etc. There are many instance where I have found these radio used as link or remote base radios, and the pictures show a single cable with what appears to be a DB-9 connector, coming out of the top rear of the radio. And no connection to the mic plug. Also, have search for the possibility of some sort of factory accessory cable, similar to the Kenwood KCT-19. Does not appear that Vertex had any such animal. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank You, Louis
