I have a GR1225 repeater interfaced to the Port 1 of an NHRC7 controller. PL/DPL decoded audio will key the repeater but COS alone will not. The PL light on the NHRC7 does not light up when there is a valid PL signal.
The strange thing here... If I move the cable from the GR1225 from port 1 to port 2 of the NHRC7 controller, it plays nicely and does light up the PL light, along with allowing the the PL decode to be turned on and off remotely. This behavior occurs even after a factory reset to defaults of the controller. Any ideas? Also, anyone have any ideas for a 'reasonable' sounding courtesy tone? The NHRC7 limits it to 4 elements with any quiet time in between "beeps" as counting as it's own element. Very 73s, AJ, K6LOR
