I was given 2 very nice complete UHF 35 in 600 Watt amplifiers. Both are in working order complete with power supplies and all but they are in the 477 range. Has anyone had any experience with these and is there any chance of getting them into the ham bands. Only part number I can find is Part # UVC600-0.5RF which includes the 4 units (One is a 250mw in 50 out and the other a 35 in 600 out amp) These were used by an analog TV station for the audio side of things from what I was told and they were given to me when they got a new analog transmitter about a year ago. I didn't know if the units were worth the time to mess with or not. I can post a pic next week when I get em out if that would help me with the project. Thanks!!! I haven't tested em at frequency because I don't want to screw em up and I don't have a dummy load that high.
