Something GE or Motorola, but what? I'd like to build a 6 meter repeater. And, this'll be my first repeater to build. What would be a good choice for conversion? Definitely something VHF lowband- 35 to 42 MHz or better, but what? I'm more familiar with GE units than Motorola, but that doesn't rule out a Micor or something else. Any suggestions?
