That's how I've scanned the manuals I've uploaded... fortunately, I have access to a couple of Fujitsu flatbed scanners with document feeders that will handle the long pages, and in color, B&W, or grayscale. (they are literally right outside my office door, in our medical records department)
I'd be more than happy to scan anything for the list, for just the cost of sending the originals back.
