Hello all, I have one here that is making me scracth my head, maybe you can help. I have a GE Mastr II repeater with the NHRC 4 MII controller and a ts64 encoder/decoder. I have tried 2 controllers of the like and get different results. I have the tone board hooked up as example 2 in the manual encode/decode with PL filter. Here is the scenario.
Controller #1 I will enable the CTCSS with command XXXX0201 and every thing will work fine for a while. then I will disable the CTCSS on the portable and will still be able to access the repeater. Controller #2 I will enable the CTCSS with command xxxx0201 and agian every thing will work fine for a while. Then I will not be able to access the repeater at all. The only way to access the repeater agian is to cycle power. Controller #1 might be a year or more old but controller #2 is less than 6 months old. Both are version 2.23 Any way at this point I am going to tune up another mastr II and try them in that but thought I would consult here as well. Thank you all in advance for your help. John KB3DOL
