Out of curiosity (and part of a project I'm working on), what would a VHF
Mastr 2 Station draw as far as current is concerned, if the P/A is bypassed
(i.e. receiver, exciter, control shelf, IFAS and system boards)?

I have a need for a portable event repeater for an upcoming BSA event in
April. Radio Mobile says I can do just fine with 250 mw from the exciter;
the site I've chosen is going to be running strictly on batteries for the
duration of the event. The station is in a constant duty 40 watt
configuration currently tuned down to 25 watts. I'm curious for the sake of
the battery budget how much current one of these Mastr2s will draw, both
squelched and actively transmitting.

I thought I had read the specs somewhere in an LBI, but can't quite seem to
find it. Oh well :)
