Well, I don't remember the thread, but if you are using a mobile amp in repeater use, then folks were right to call you on it. You should consider yourself lucky you got what you got out of it. And since there is no reason to turn down the deviation of an HT600 to +/-2.5 KHz, since they won't do part 90 narrowband, and there's no narrowband on the ham bands (except 900), there's no point explaining it. And you better start dealing with your part 90 gear, unless you're sure you can replace them all and get them in to users hands in a matter if days or weeks...most people in part 90 will have trouble getting it done in years.
