In mobile mounting, I've been told that you want to be 1/4 wavelength apart at the lower frequency. For commercial installations (i.e.: fixed base), I think one wavelength is supposed to get you outside of impacting the beam by altering the near-field. That isn't to say that you won't impact the far-field. If the tower is large enough, you might consider putting the two meter DB-224 on top, and the 220MHz DB-224 off one side. -- Kris Kirby, KE4AHR Disinformation Analyst
