Hi All,

I have two Ramsey Com3 Monitors which are surplus to my needs. I want to sell
them to someone who can put them to use, and have no interest in dealing with
the Ebay scene. I'm going to post them here, and they don't sell, tote them to
Dayton with me next month.

Unit 1: Serial Number 6557 - has digital input switch installed on back. I
have taken off the factory's glued on labels and replaced them with labels from
my Brother labelmaker. This unit has the Hitachi microcontroller/front panel
board. $325.00 for this one

Unit 2: Serial Number 9517 - also has digital input switch installed on back -
labels on back are silk screened onto panel. This unit uses the Motorola
microcontroller/front panel board. $375.00 for this one.

Both units have fully functioning LED displays (7 segment as well as bargraph
have no burned out or dim segments). I have "checked" them out using my IFR
1600 and my Motorola 2410 monitors as "references." I use quotes around these
words as neither of my "references" are NIST traceable calibrated. I checked
these units out for functionality only. They are not calibrated, nor do they
have any calibration data or stickers on/with them.

I have removed the sealed lead acid batteries from both as the batteries were
dead. Both units are clean inside.... there are a few paint chips around the
front panel edges of both units. The membrane keyboards are clean, nick free
and function properly. I cleaned all of the variable controls as well.

Prices above do not include shipping, though you're welcome to pick them up
locally. This would also allow a buyer to check them out first.

I would prefer to sell these to someone who is familiar with a Com3. If you're
not familiar with Com3's, then please make certain you go to
repeater-builder.com, download the manual and review their capabilities and
specifications. I just don't want someone to purchase these thinking the Com 3
has the same feature sets as an IFR/Motorola/HP and be disappointed. I do not
have manuals for either unit, but as mentioned above, you can download a manual
off of repeater-builder.com's website.

I will make a package deal if someone is interested in purchasing both. Please
contact me direct via email if you have additional questions. I will gladly
answer all questions.
