I have a DB-410 for UHF that was on a 461.075 repeater. It has
8 elements on a mast that is in two parts. Can this antenna be tuned
to the ham radio UHF band?
I have another folded dipole element vertical by them and it uses
hose clamps to hold the elements to a mast. There are 8 elements
on that antenna too. The harness has V shaped plastic connections
where each element connects to the harness. It looks to be made
by the Decibel Products too from the pictures of the harness I
have seen on their webpage. Can that antenna be retuned to the Ham
UHF bands. The elements look to be the same size as the other
antenna. I have not put a Antenna Analyzer like a MFJ on them yet.
Im pretty sure the first one came off a repeater that was on
461.075 and the other may have too but it has no mast, the elements
clamps on with the hose clamps.
What do these antenna cost on the used market?
I also have a MSR-2000 UHF repeater with duplexers for that 461.075
466.075 freqs. I can get new crystals for the repeater but can
the duplexers be retuned to the ham band UHF freqs.
