In the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands, CTCSS tones are assigned per geographical area. For example, in the South of the Netherlands, (where my machines are located), CTCSS tone is standardized to 71.9 Hz.
My question: What mechanism do repeaters in Germany use? Is there a geographical assignment scheme as well? Thanks, Geert Jan
