I wonder if wax melted and poured around the VCO circuits would help. Anyone?

My surface mount warfare skills aren't what i would call the best. I think i am going to leave them how they are for right now for the test phases of the set up . If and when it becomes something of a permanent install , Ill either send them out for repairs OR ill switch them out for 2 CDM 1550ls+ i have in the shack and mobile.
