I think that the the ham fest was better attended than last year. It seemed that people seemed to haggle more on prices but I sold that stuff I wanted to get rid of. It did seem that some of the stuff that was in the flea market should have been thrown out instead of being dragged to Dayton, But one mans junk is another mans treasure.
At the end of Saturday a rain and gust front came through and destroyed quite a few of the tents that people had set up. I think that the people that lost there tents also need to learn how to tie them down properly. The folks that run the flea market spaces need to work harder on getting things sent out in a timely manor. Yes I understand that a lot of the work is done by volunteers but the committee needs to step it up and more responsive to inquiry's. See you all next year... I had a great time again.. Paul R.
